Our Groups
The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Adult Critical Care Operational Delivery Network have a number of forums that provide voices for various members of the critical care workforce. These forums provide time for delegates from various units to work collaboratively in identifying, develop, and share areas of good practices and expertise to enable change strategies and standards to be effectively implemented in critical care areas.

ACCP
Practice Educators
Practice educators in various units under the Network have a diverse role in coordinating the education, training, and CPD framework for critical care nursing staff and pre-registration students' allocation. The Educator team help contribute to the delivery of standard quality of care for patients in adult intensive care units. Furthermore, they support the recruitment, retention and development of nurses within Adult critical care.
Rehabilitation and Follow-up Service
The critical care Rehabilitation and Follow up service group are Leads from various units that provide and coordinate the delivery of high-quality post discharge care to patients who have recovered and have been discharged from critical care units. These expert services may include support for physical and psychological complications from being in critical care furthermore, provide resources to help ex-patients optimally settle into the community and workplace.
Data Leads
The Data leads group provide support and coordinate the collection of these data in various units across the Network
Psychology Leads
The critical care psychology subgroup are psychologists from various units that provide and coordinate the delivery of high-quality psychologist services and post discharge care to patients who have recovered and have been discharged from critical care units.
Pharmacist Group
Critical care pharmacists' group are Leads of critical care pharmacies in units that are part of the Network. They support the development and strengthening of critical care pharmaceutical services, professional standards and engagement of critical care pharmacists. Critical care Pharmacists are a part of the multi-disciplinary team in the ICU optimising medication therapy and improving outcomes for critically ill patients.
Professional Nurse Advocate Group PNA
Critical care Professional Nurse advocate (PNA) group are Lead PNAs supporting and coordinating the delivery of professional nurse advocates in critical care in critical care units in the Network. The Critical care PNA support the workforce through restorative supervision and mentorship for the delivery of Quality Improvement initiatives.
Sustainability Group
The aim of the sustainability subgroup is to provide a forum to formally celebrate, promote, support, develop and share best practices among sustainability campions working in units within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Adult Critical care Operational Delivery Network.
