Practice Educators

Practice educators in various units under the Network have a diverse role in coordinating the education, training, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) framework for critical care nursing staff and pre-registration students' allocation.

The Educator team help contribute to the delivery of standard quality of care for patients in adult intensive care units. Furthermore, they support the recruitment, retention and development of nurses within Adult critical care.

They are vital to the development of knowledge, skills and the confidence of nurses in intensive care units as they are senior nurses who are in touch with what happens in practice.
