Critical care Outreach group
Critical Care Outreach Practitioners (CCOPs) provide timely and appropriate rapid responses to patients who are acutely unwell and their conditions are deteriorating irrespective of location or pathway. They are Critical Care professionals with competency and experience offering a multi-professional service ensuring safe, quality and equitable care in the best interests of patients. Also, they are an educational resource, contributing and enabling other members of the multi-professional team to deliver clinically relevant person-centred decisions.
