GPICs V3 Audit Toolkit Now Available
The Intensive Care Society (ICS) and the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FICM) have launched the GPICS V3 Audit Toolkit, a new resource designed to support critical care units and networks in implementing and monitoring the Guidelines for the Provision of Intensive Care Services (GPICS) Version 3.
The toolkit provides a structured approach for assessing compliance with GPICS V3 minimum standards, helping organisations identify areas of good practice, benchmark current performance, and highlight opportunities for quality improvement.
For critical care services across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, the toolkit offers valuable support in ensuring services continue to meet national standards and deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. It can also be used to inform local quality assurance processes, service development plans, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
We encourage clinical leads, critical care teams, managers, and network representatives to explore the toolkit and consider how it can support local implementation of GPICS V3 and drive continuous improvement within their services.
Further information and access to the toolkit can be found on the Intensive Care Society website:Intensive Care Society | GPICS V3 Audit Toolkit Now Available to Support Local Implementation and Monitoring
